TAMIL RADIO
Tamil Voice is a weekly radio program airing on 3CR community radio with news, views, children’s programs and music presented by The Victorian Tamil Association. Tamil Voice serves the interest of the Tamil Community in the Melbourne metropolitan area.
Established in January 1984, it has been servicing Tamil community for over three decades. The Tamil Voice program continues to broadcast news, views, songs, local announcements, children’s programs and interviews with local and foreign community leaders.
Every year on Christmas Day, Tamil Voice organises a Radiothon from 9am – 6pm to raise funds for the disadvantaged Victorian Tamil students in need.
TAMIL TV
Tamil Oli is a half an hour weekly Tamil program on Channel 31 Melbourne. It broadcasts on Channel 31 every Sunday 8.30pm to 9pm. The segment showcases local Tamil talents and covers various Tamil cultural programs and many other events in Victoria.Â
Tamil Oli has captured and showcased many Tamil kids’ performances, Tamil youth’s talents, senior Tamil citizens’ events, Tamil school events, Tamil cultural programs and a variety of interviews. Additionally, all the productions are being shared on social media platforms.Â
These programs have been well received by both local and international Tamils.Â
